Funeral for Rondale E. Montgomery, 63, of Bessemer was Mon., June 14, at 2 p.m. at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chad Payne officiating.
Burial was in New Hope #2 Cemetery.
Mr. Montgomery died Fri., June 11, 2010. He was born in Cullman County to James A. Montgomery and Janie Patton Montgomery. He was a self-employed house painter and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelia Elrod Montgomery; his parents; four brothers, Percy, Fred, Rufus and Cecil; and four sisters, Jimmie, Myr-lene, Christine and Kathleen.
He is survived by his daughter, Tracie Montgom-ery Reed and husband Cliff; a granddaughter, Jordan Reed Williamson and husband Brent; a brother, Arnold Montgomery; and two sisters, Linda Montgomery Owens and Voncille Montgomery Akers.
