Funeral for Geneva Smith Buckner, 81, of Vestavia Hills was Thur., June 17, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jonathan Dick officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Buckner died Tue., June 15, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Hospital East. She was born Aug. 26, 1928, in Morgan County to Oakley Woods and Lydia Wilbanks Woods. She was a Methodist.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Leah Boozer of Birmingham and Debbie Crowell of Decatur; three grandsons, Rodney Bolton, Nicholas Mathews and Justin McElroy; and three sisters, Annette Byrd, Peggy Seibert and Betty Roberts, all of Hartselle.
