Funeral for Lena Steele, 66, of Hartselle was Tue., July 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Keenum officiating.
Ms. Steele died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born February 20, 1944, in Morgan County to Bill Mitchell and Mary Lucille Seagroves Mitchell.
She is survived by four sons, Michael Dunkin of Decatur, Mark Dunkin of Huntsville, Keith Dunkin and wife Denise of Hartselle and Dennis Garey and wife Amanda of Sheffield; a daughter, Terrie Owen and husband Steve of Danville; two brothers, Ray Shelby of Ohio and James Mitchell of Falkville; two sisters, Liz Ray of Hatton and Rachel Sheppard of Falkville; six grandchildren, Clara Owen, Ryan Anthony Dunkin, Lane Owen, Kylee Garey, Nolen Garey and Mollie Garey.
