Funeral for Patricia Ann Slaten Smith Benally, 64, of Hartselle was Fri., July 9, at 12:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chuck Smith officiating.
Mrs Benally died Tue., July 6, 2010, at Cullman Health Care Center. She was born Sept. 12, 1945, in Morgan County to Dave Lindsey Slaten and Catherine Haw-kins Slaten. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Jackson Smith; and a brother, Bud Slaten.
She is survived by three sons, James Jackson Smith Jr. and wife Jennifer of Falkville, Johnathen Lee Smith and wife Brenda Taylor of Daphne and Stephen Ray Smith and wife Diane Harris of Huntsville; a brother, Lewis Slaten of Addison; a sister, Corene Buchanan; and seven grandchildren.
