Funeral for Eula Goree Speed, 88, of Somerville will be Thur. (today), July 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Walker officiating.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Ms. Speed died Mon., July 26, 2010, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born July 25, 1922, in Tishimingo County, Miss. to Elmer Lee Goree and Leona Lynn Goree.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Decatur.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Lee Speed and wife Lorie and Andy Speed and wife Vicki, all of Reform; four daughters, Mary Lynn Jones and husband Ronnie of Ethelsville, Carlotta Smith of Somerville, Donna Howard of Ft. Collins, Colo. And Wanda Gayle Townsend and husband Don Rickey of Mt. Hope; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lynn Goree, Billy Wade, Dana-Hal Smith, Mickey Smith, Barry Goree, Mitchell Smith, Don Rickey Townsend, Hunter Smith and Scott Townsend.
