Web design nets honors
Tom White and James Dingus won second place in the Web Design Contest at the Skills USA National Conference. Contests were held on the week of June 21-25 in Kansas City, Mo. White and Dingus won the high school level Web Design Contest at the state level for the last two years.
They competed in the 2009 Skills USA Web Design Contest and scored seventh place.
White is a lifelong resident of the Union Hill community in Morgan County and is pursuing an aerospace engineering degree at UAH.
Dingus also resides in the Union Hill community in Morgan County and is pursuing an engineering degree at UAH.
Both completed the electronics technology program at Brewer High School. Skills USA is a Career Technical Student Organization with chapters in all states. Skills USA includes many trade areas, such as welding, HVAC, and automotive trades.
