Eva man charged with making meth

Two men, including one from Eva, are charged with possession of methamphetamine following their arrest last week.
Gerry Don Holcomb, 40, of 14 Bethel Church Road in Eva, and Randy Keith Bartlett, 48, of 3101 Highway 747 in Cullman were taken to Morgan County jail where bond was set at $2,500 each.
Sheriff’s deputies were investigating complaints of smoke coming out of a shed on Holcomb’s property. A search revealed methamphetamine in the home.
