Mary Curbow Drake

Funeral for Mary Curbow Drake, 84, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Holmes and  Bro. James Maxwell officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Ms. Drake died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Morgan County to Daniel Winfield Curbow and Annie Mae Motes Curbow. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church, a former member of Somerville Eastern Star and a foster grandparent at F.E. Bur-leson Elementary School
She is survived by a son, Marion Drake of Trinity; six daughters, Nancy Busby and husband Calvin and Mary Maxwell and husband James, all of Hartselle, Kaye Goens and husband Steve and Faye Forton and husband Bob, all of Decatur, Wanda Andrews and husband Dennis of Tullahoma, TN and Dana Gafnea and husband Jeff of Tuscaloosa; a sister, Faye Gibson of Trinity; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jeff Holmes, David Tutwiller, Michael Gibson, John Griffin, Jameson Maxwell and Wayne Lyle.
