Local merchants part of women’s chamber event

The Decatur Women’s Chamber of Commerce presents the  Fall Fashion Fling at the historic Princess Theatre Sept. 23 at 7 p.m.
This year the show will feature apparel from five local merchants including Cricket by the Creek, Goody 2 Shoes, Greco Fiore, Tallulah’s and The Carriage House.
The event is an opportunity to preview new fall fashions in a festive setting.
Door prizes will be given away during the show such as, a round of golf at Burningtree Country Club, gift baskets from the Cottage House, Southern Staffing, Morgan Price Candy, and  3M. Also two tickets to the Carnegie Cabaret, gift items from Greco Fiore, an  Abusson pillow from Tammy Eddy Antiques and Interiors and a gift certificate for silver polishing from Bank Street Antique Mall.
Like last year’s event, each attendee will receive a gift basket filled with surprises.  Sugar Magnolia’s, Trish Land and Tammy Eddy Antiques will create a beautiful setting for the evening.
Monarch Women’s Health is the presenting sponsor for the event with Progress Bank serving as ticket sponsor.  The Fall Fashion Fling is the chamber’s major fundraiser to benefit such organizations as Decatur Public Library, Carnegie Visual Arts Center, and the Princess Theatre Center for Performing Arts, Meals on Wheels, Hospice of the Valley and Calhoun Community College Foundation Scholarship.
Tickets will be available for purchase the evening of the show for $25 or you may purchase tickets in advance for $20.
If you purchase a row of tickets in advance, seating will be guaranteed.  You may purchase tickets at the Princess Theatre, Tammy Eddy Antiques, Bank Street Antique Mall, the Cottage House, and Jimmy Smith Jewelers or at any one of the presenters.
