Puckett earns chiefs honor
Hartselle Police Chief Ron Puckett recently completed 240 hours of training in the Certified Law Enforcement Executive Program. The achievement is the highest a law enforcement officer can attain through the Partnership for Alabama Continuing Education at Jacksonville State University.
Completing the curriculum also gives Puckett certification through the Alabama Association of Chiefs of Police.
“This honor is a real credit to Chief Puckett and to the City of Hartselle,” Belinda Blackburn, director of Continuing Education at JSU, said.
Puckett received recognition at the annual Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Gulf Shores.
