Frances ‘Jimmie’ Pitt

Funeral for Mrs. Frances “Jimmie” Pitt, 83, of Hartselle was Mon., Sept. 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry McElroy officiating.
Burial was in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Mrs. Pitt died Sat., Sept. 11, 2010, at Falkville Health Care. She was born Dec. 22, 1926, to Samarian Cleveland Reed and Della Lavene Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Billy “B.F.” Pitt.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Wiley and husband Jerald of Hartselle and Teresa Lott and husband Dan of Decatur; a sister, Christine Cartee of Florida; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
