Funeral for Noble E. Johnson, 92, of Decatur was Tue., Sept. 14, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Jhnson died Sun., Sept. 12, 2010, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born May 16, 1918, in Colbert County to Fox Delano Johnson and Myrtle Underwood Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Grissom Johnson.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Groover and husband Ike of Hartselle and Suzanne Dunn and husband Kyle of Hendersonville, Tenn.; a sister, Fausteen Landers of Leighton; five grandchildren, Kim Peck, David Groover, Wade Dunn, Will Dunn and Andrew Dunn; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Peck, Arthur Peck, Brittany Groover and A.J. Groover.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons.
