Funeral for Ruby Powell, 94, of Falkville was Mon., Sept. 20, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Burcham officiating.
Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery.
Mrs. Powell died Fri., Sept. 17, 2010, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born Nov. 9, 1915, in Morgan County to Roscoe Blankenship and Myrtle Alvis Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Powell; a son, Albert McNutt; a daughter, Mable Pike; three brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by a sister, Barbara Wright of Falkville; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Clay Pike, Larry Pike, Mike McNutt, Randy McNutt, Josh Pike and Jonathan Pike.
