Falkville woman faces drug charges

A routine traffic stop in Decatur led to the arrest of a Falkville woman last week.
Decatur Police Department stopped Mary Jane Legg,48, of 59 West Third Street, Falkville, as she was driving in the alley behind Mark II Inn on Fifth Ave. SE. Officers later determined Legg’s driver’s license was revoked and she had several outstanding misdemeanor warrants. During a search of her vehicle, 49 Alprazolam tablets were found in her purse. She was later charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was taken to Morgan County Jail on $3,500 bond.
