Funeral for J.T. Brewer, 82, of Somerville was Monday, October 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Owens officiating.
Burial was in Red Oak Cemetery.
Mr. Brewer died Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born November 18, 1927, in Jackson County to Will Brewer and Elsie Jones Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Diane Breeding.
He is survived by a son, Glen Brewer of Somerville; four daughters, Carol Bader of Michigan, Nancy Under-hill, Wanda Roberts and Dathy Davis, all of Somerville; four brothers, Whitney Brewer and Dennis Brewer, both of New Market, Ray Brewer of Madison and Bobby Brewer of Huntsville; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
