William Robert Treadway

Funeral for William Robert Treadway, 79, of Decatur was Sunday, October 10, at 2:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Bobby Graham and Greg Legg officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Treadway died Friday, October 8, 2010. He was born January 7, 1931, in Cherokee County to Ernest Treadway and Gussie Mae Burrows Treadway. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Merchant Marines/Coast Guard. He was an avid sailor and was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Treadway Jr. and Paul Treadway; two sisters, Juanita Thomasson and Archie Ogletree; and a great-grandchild, Jesse Robert Maxwell.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Maxwell and husband John of Eva; a sister, Maydrith Treadway of Russellville; three grandchildren, Jonathan Maxwell and wife Anna, Benjamin Maxwell and Courtney Maxwell; and a great-grandchild, Lorelai Ann Maxwell.
Pallbearers were Steve Flory, Jimmy Dobbs, Jack Hinkle, Ricky Childers, Jonathan Maxwell and Benjamin Maxwell.
