Funeral for Gertis Williams Martin, 91, of Hartselle was Sat., Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.
Ms. Martin died Wed., Oct. 13, 2010, at Summer-ford Nursing Home. She was born April 22, 1919, in Morgan County to George Wesley Williams and Mary Elizabeth Neely Williams.
She is survived by three sons, Tony Martin and wife Debbie of Hartselle, Jerry Martin and wife Kathy of Biloxi, Miss. and Donald Martin and wife Pat of Massey; three daughters, Bonnie Higdon and husband Jack, Shirley Sinclair and husband Johnny and Ann Ricketts and husband Danny, all of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ken Powell, Allen Higdon, Chris Ricketts, Steven Martin, Blake Hewett and Jeremy Vickers.
