Funeral for Hester G. Reed, 82, of Falkville was Wed., Oct. 27, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Donnie Hargrove and Michael Borden officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Reed died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at her residence. She was born February 23, 1928, in Clay County, W.V. to Asbury Starcher and Callie May Starcher.
She is survived by two sons, Vernon Reed and Harley Reed, both of Falkville; two daughters, Gladys Lindley of Hartselle and Della Lindley of Falkville; two brothers, Franklin Starcher and Ray Starcher; two sisters, Marie Gram and Francis Starcher; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenny Foster, Phillip Melson, Johathon Melson, Chris Borden, Michael Borden and Tommy Garrett.
