Funeral for Shirley Simpson, 72, of Hartselle was Mon., Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with John White officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery.
Mrs. Simpson died Fri., Oct. 22, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born July 17, 1938, in Tennessee to Ollie Crabtree and Sallie Roden Crabtree. She was a member of Decatur Christian Fellowship Church and a former employee of The Huntsville Times. She is survived by her husband, Damon Simpson of Hartselle; a son, Michael Rose of Virginia; two daughters, Pamela River and Jeri Kimberly Devoe, both of Hartselle; two sisters, Jean Gorden of Lacey’s Spring and Marie McHoague of Texas; and four grandchildren.
