Funeral for James Coy Crowe, 81, of Danville was Sat., Oct. 30, at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Bro. Dan Compton officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Crowe died Wed., Oct. 27, 2010, at his residence. He was born Oct. 10, 1929, in Lawrence County to Jessie Coy Crowe and Nannie Pearl Looney Crowe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Rebecca Crowe; his parents; and a sister, Gail Draper.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Hill Crowe; a son, Paul Crowe and wife Becky of Danville; a daughter, Linda Ledlow and husband Clayton of Hartselle; two brothers, Billy Joe Crowe of Danville and Mark Crowe of Guntersville; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons, Eddie Crowe, Jason Crowe, Michael Crowe, Tyler Crowe, Steven Crowe and Robby Reece.
