Funeral for James O. McClellan, 78, of Danville, was Sat., Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Jerry Smith and P.J. Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. McClellan died Thur., Nov. 18, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1931, in Morgan County to James W. McClellan and Linnie Pope McClellan. He was a retired truck driver with Gordon Transport and a member and deacon of Cedar Plains Christian Church and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Sue Morris McClellan and a brother, Bro. Lee McClellan.
He is survived by a son, Frank McClellan and wife Cherie; a daughter, Patti Ozbolt and husband Barry; two brothers, Pete McClel-lan and wife Susie and Ray McClellan and wife Sylvia; a sister, Louise Ryan; a sister-in-law, Judy McClellan; and five grandchildren, Marin McClel-lan, Morgan McClellan, Lucas Johnson, Brandon Ozbolt and Brooke Ozbolt.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
