I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. As usual I ate too much. I try not to do that but everything always s looks and smells so good it’s hard to resist.
Christian love and sympathy is extended to Nancy Morrow, Mark and his family and Kevin and his family in the loss of her husband and their dad. Joe Morrow.

If your would like to help decorate the sanctuary of New Center Baptist Church for Christmas with a poinsettia, please do so on Sunday, Dec. 5. You may place these in honor or in memory of a loved one or friend. Also, let Brenda McMinemon know in whose honor or memory your poinsettia is given.
“Three Wise Man and a Baby” will be presented by the children of New Center Baptist Church on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. Finger foods will be served in the fellowship hall following the program. Please bring one of your favorite finger foods and a drink.

Pastor Shane Lewis and members of Somerville Baptist Church invite you to experience the love of Christ like never before. They will present a live nativity complete with over 100 volunteer actors, live animals and special music that will depict the true meaning of Christmas.
The audience will witness the prophetic birth announcement, the angelic proclamation of Christ’s birth to the shepherds, the busy marketplace and observe Roman soldiers astonished at an empty tomb.
The free event is presented for groups, families and individuals Dec. 9-11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily at 3920 Highway 67, Somerville. You can call the church office at 256-778-8844. Everyone is welcome.
