Funeral for Lawrence “Reds” Duffy, 85, of Vinemont, was Wed., Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial was in Eva Cemetery.
Mr. Duffy died Sat., Dec. 4, 2010, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Pennsylvania to Paul James Duffy and Ellen Charlotte Marie O’Brien Duffy. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Riegel Duffy and a brother, Paul Duffy.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Duffy; two sons, Paul Duffy of N.J. and Larry Duffy Jr. of Eva; two brothers, Jim Duffy of New Jersey and Bill Duffy of Penn.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
