Christmas dramas come to church

Shady Grove Baptist Church youth, ages pre-kindergarten through seventh grade, will present a musical drama entitled “Cookin’ Up Christmas Where Love Is the Main Ingredient” on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring finger foods for a fellowship get-together afterwards. The public is cordially invited.
Shady Grove Baptist Church will present a Christmas cantata entitled “Jesus, There’s Something About That Name” on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome.

I want to remind everyone to please save your aluminum cans for the Shady Grove Baptist Church children’s Sunday school classes.
They are collecting cans to raise money for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering for foreign missions. The GAs and Acteens are delivering Christmas cards within the church for donations to the missions offering.
I want to ask everyone to please pray for our deployed troops and their families and pray for peace and their safe return to their loved ones soon.
