Funeral for Wilma Angle Speake Hodges, 78, of Decatur was Sun., Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Chandler and James Bryant officiating. Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mrs. Hodges died Fri., Dec. 3, 2010, at Decatur Health and Rehab. She was born Oct. 4, 1931, in Morgan County to Earl Lee Angle and Nealie Irene Holladay Angle. She was a member of Point Mallard Parkway Church of Christ.
She is survived by a son, Larry Speake and wife Sonja of Danville; a daughter, Judy Speake Lake and husband James of Decatur; a sister, Opal Sapp of Hartselle; five grandchildren, James O. Lake and wife Tiffany, Angie Lake Romager and husband Kenneth; Wayne T. Lake, April Speake Sanderson and husband Ben and Stephen W. Speake and wife Amber; and four great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Rebecca Romager and Bailey and Levi Sanderson.
Pallbearers were family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
