Chester L. Hale

Memorial service for Chester L. Hale, 81, of Hartselle was Sun., Dec. 12, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Walter Blackmon officiating.
Mr. Hale died Wed., Dec. 8, 2010, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. He was born Aug. 23, 1929, in Morgan County to Lee Arvester Hale and Gladys Lurlene Plemons Hale. He attended East Highland Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Hale.
He is survived by his wife, Nelline Hale of Hartselle; two daughters, Ann Haley of Pensacola, Fla. and Rhonda Hale Downs of Hartselle; a brother, Don Hale of Athens; five grandchildren, Chris Hutzler, Tim Hale, Cheryl Tucker, Kimberly Petersen and Amanda Hale; and four great-grandchildren, Sierra Tucker, Ellie Hutzler, Devyn Petersen and Claire Petersen.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to East Highland Baptist Church Building Fund.
