Holidays change public works schedules

Hartselle’s Public Works Department and inert landfill will be closed during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays from Dec. 23 to Dec. 26 and Dec. 30 to Jan. 2.
Thursday garbage routes will be run on Wednesday both weeks and extra holiday garbage will be picked up Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 27-29. Extra boxes and other holiday trash can be left beside the trash can for a special pickup on your garbage day the week after Christmas.
There will be no yard waste or recycling pickup from Dec. 20 through Dec. 31.
