Tigers pick up crucial area wins
Isaiah Fowler led the Tigers with 13 points, while Terry Wiggins added 12 points. Aaron Wooley finished with 10 points for the Tigers.
Hartselle improved to 2-1 in area play with the victory over West Point.
Hartselle made eight 3-pointers in the win.
Mason Beck led West Point with 13 points, but he was limited to just two points in the second half.

Hartselle led 26-21 at the half before putting together a 21-5 run in the third quarter that quickly put the game out of reach.
Wiggins scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half as the Tigers pulled away from the Warriors.

Hartselle 62, West Morgan 52
Hartselle’s hot streak continued Saturday as the Tiger won their third straight game with a 62-52 victory over West Morgan.
Chance Partlow scored 18 points to lead the Tigers offensively. Matt Johnston and Terry Wiggins finished with 13 and 10 points respectively.
West Morgan’s Trey Kent scored 17 points to lead the Rebels. William Jackson added 15 points, while Gray Baxter finished with 10 points.
Hartselle 47, West Point 40
Hartselle opened up a 10-point lead in the first half and held off West Point for a 47-40 victory.
Katelyn Hill led Hartselle with 11 points and eight rebounds, while Quaneshia Burk added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Kanesia Elliott chipped in nine points for the Lady Tigers.
Sarah Horner had a team-high five steals.
West Point’s Rachel Persall finished with 14 points. Madison Rusk added 11 points in the loss.
Hartselle opened up a 14-12 advantage over the Lady Warriors in the first quarter and stretched the lead to 30-20 at the half.
Hill scored five points in the second half to help the Lady Tigers hold off a late West Point run.
West Morgan 36, Hartselle 32
Hayden Hamby scored 26 of West Morgan’s 36 points in a win over Hartselle Saturday night on the road.
Alice Ann Glasgow and Quanesha Burks both scored six points to lead the Lady Tigers. Belaine Allen and Melissa Paul Hill finished with five points each in the loss.
Hartselle struggled early and trailed 12-2 going into the second quarter, but the Lady Tigers battled back only to fall by four points.
