Funeral for Toby Gwen Mashburn, 73, of Hartselle was Sat., Dec. 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Mashburn died Wed., Dec. 8, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 25, 1937, in Blount County to Claude Samuel Wood and Eunace Alma Smith Wood. She was a member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church where she sang in the Heritage Choir. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Mashburn; a sister, Elizabeth Matthews; and a grandchild, Darcy Mashburn.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Eric Mashburn and wife Nicole of Hartselle; a daughter, Laura Rebecca Mead and husband Tony of St. Mary’s, Ga.; a brother, Rynard Nickles of Pensacola, Fla.; a sister, Mary Waid of Oneonta; and three grandchildren, Samuel Mead, Molly Mead and Jesse Mashburn.
