Christian love and sympathy is extended to Virgie D. Hopper in the loss of her brother-in-law, Herman T. “Tubby” Segars; Horace and Harold Plemons in the loss of their cousin, Chester Hale and the family and friends of Faye Higginbotham.
The youth of New Center Baptist Church are planning a babysitting fundraiser just in time for the holidays.
They will baby-sit for parents to go shopping Dec. 18 from, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Dec. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church. Lunch will be provided and, in addition, they will wrap your gifts. Please bring your items to be wrapped already boxed to the church.
Happy birthday wishes go out this week to Chris Champion, Ricky Lackey and Joyce Maples Blankenship, all on Dec. 17, Josh Geist and Patsy Haywood, both on Dec. 19, Geoff Halbrooks and Zac Ferrell, both on Dec. 20 and Faye Bowles, Austin Hughes and Alyssa Rogers, all on Dec. 22.
Happy wedding anniversary wishes go out to Jason and Abby Jenkins on Dec. 15, Ed and Carrie Allen on Dec. 16 and Bud and Maxine Gibson on Dec. 19.
