Dorothy Newman Bowers

A graveside service for Dorothy Newman Bowers, 89, was Wed., Dec. 22, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bowers died Mon., Dec. 20, 2010, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born May 15, 1921, in Morgan County to Walter P. Newman and Mattie Lee Vest Newman. She was a longtime member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Bowers
She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Bowers Haynes and a grandchild, Harrison Haynes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Good Samaritan Fund at Hartselle First United Methodist Church.
