Flora Hopper Goins

Funeral for Flora Hopper Goins, 87, of Hartselle was Wednesday, December 22, at 1 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Flynn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Goins died Monday, December 20, 2010, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham. She was born October 1, 1923, in Morgan County to William Alexander Hopper and Ada Lamour Brooks Hopper. She was a member of New Center Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Goins. She and her husband were longtime employees of Buddy Roberts, working at the catfish ponds. She had been a resident of Summerford Nursing Home for the past few years.
She is survived by a brother, James Allen Hopper of Cotaco and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were nephews.
