Man accused of producing child porn

A Somerville man was arrested this week on charges of making and possessing child pornography.
Deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department received reports that Danny Michael Wilkes, 57, of Water Tower Road in Somerville, was in possession of videos showing a juvenile younger than 12 performing sexual acts. Investigators obtained a search warrant and found the tapes. Wilkes was then charged with production and possession of child pornography. He was taken to Morgan County Jail on $500,000 bond for each charge.
