Funeral for William Lawrence Falls, 82, of Eva was Friday, Dec. 24, at 12 noon at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Larkin officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Falls died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at his residence. He was born March 4, 1928, in Walker County to William R. and Tiercie Mullinax Falls. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, veterans service officer and a past commander of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacklyn Falls; his parents; and a sister, Mary Falls Ristau.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Falls; a son, Randy Falls; stepson, Ricky Weaver; two stepdaughters, Lynette Yancey and Lydia Hudson; a brother, Selman Falls of York; a sister, Mildred Falls Hampton of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Lindsey Falls Walker and husband Scott of Birmingham and Kristin Falls Pratt and husband Neil of Chattanooga, Tenn.; stepgrandchildren, Audrie, Amy, Wesley, Alison, Justin, Will and Jared; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wesley Yancey, Justin Hudson, Jared Hudson, Will Weaver, Neil Pratt and Scott Walker.
