Brewer beats Hawks
Hannah Crawford scored 17 points to lead Brewer to a 63-51 victory over Danville in the DAR Christmas Invitational last week.
The loss was just the third of the season for Danville.
Riley Northway added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Patriots, while Courtney Oldacre contributed 12 points as Brewer improved to 12-5 .
The win was the fifth straight for the Lady Patriots.
Ashley Nance scored a game-high 24 points for Danville in the loss. Hannah McClung chipped in eight points.
Danville dropped to 16-3 with the loss.
Brewer and Danville will meet again Jan. 4.
Brewer 83, DAR 58
Courtney Oldacre had her best game as a varsity player, scoring 30 points as Brewer dismantled DAR 83-58.
Rheagan Harvel added 15 points, while Riley Northway finished with 14 points in the win over the host team in the DAR Christmas Invitational.
Danville 66, Locust Fork 54
Ashley Nance finished with 23 points and 10 rebounds as Danville rolled to a win over Locust Fork in the DAR tournament.
Kayloni Cross added 12 points for the Lady Hawks, while Celese Sharbutt chipped in 11 points.
