Lucile Waldrop

Funeral for Lucile Waldrop, 77, of Northport, was Sunday, Dec. 26, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Robert Sparkman and Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Waldrop died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Hospice of West Alabama. She was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Jefferson County to Benjamin Jay Barrier and Clementine Brown Barrier. She was a member of Hartselle First United Methodist Church. She retired from Decatur General Hospital in 2001.
She is survived by two sons, Jay Waldrop and wife Rhonda of Northport and Michael Waldrop and wife Laura of Marietta, Ga.; a daughter, Carol McCalman and husband Mike of Daphne; a sister, Nancy B. Meadows of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Cole and Garrett Waldrop.
