Funeral for Michael H. Cloer, 49, of Decatur was Wednesday, Dec. 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Bobby Smith and Michael Gunter officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Mr. Cloer died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 13, 1961, in Hartselle.
He was a member of First Church of God in Hartselle, a member of the Owner/Operators Independent Drivers Association and a 1979 graduate of A.P. Brewer High School and Athens State University.
He is survived by his parents, James Hoyt and Geraldine Cloer of Falkville; a brother, Scott Cloer and wife Tammy of Vinemont; a sister, Regina Cloer Barbee and husband Jimmy “P.J.” of Falkville; three nephews, Dusty Mason, Miles Cloer and Byron Cloer; a niece, Stormi Cooper and husband Ricky; a great-niece, Milee Cooper; a great-nephew, Hayden Cooper; and a special friend, La’Derrick Q. Rencher.
Pallbearers were Miles Cloer, Byron Cloer, Dusty Mason, Chris Pike, Michael Jordan, Randy Milam and Kenneth Murphree.
