Funeral for Cora Blankenship Luker, 82, of Cotaco was Mon., Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Bates officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Luker died Sat., Jan. 1, 2011, at her residence. She was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Morgan County to James and Margie Blank-enship. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.L. “Marky” Luker.
She is survived by a son, Ronnie Luker and wife Shelley of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; a daughter, Gena Hitt and husband Pat of Somerville; grandchildren, Robert and Jessica Luker and Brian and Shelly Williams, all of Bell Buckle, Tenn. and Jeanie and Jamie Carpenter of Geneva; six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Shelby, Brianna and Madison Williams and Cyle and Caleb Carpenter.
Pallbearers were Allen Drinkard, Jerry Clifton, Jonathan Clifton, Larry Slater and Jeff Holmes.
