Doris Jean Beam

A graveside service for Doris Jean Beam, 58, of Valhermoso Springs was Sun., Jan. 9, at 1 p.m. at Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery with Gary Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Ms. Beam died Fri., Jan. 7, 2011, at Crestwood Medical Center. She was born March 30, 1952, to John Brown and Louise Thompson Elrod.
She is survived by a son, Patrick Beam; a daughter, Angela Freeman of Valhermoso Springs; her mother, Louise Elrod of Decatur; a sister, Brenda Dunlap of Valhermoso Springs; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
