Delano ‘Dag’ Brown

Funeral for Delano “Dag” Brown, 55, of Hartselle was Wed., Jan. 19, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs Holiness Church with Bros. Tim Patrick and Melvin Brown officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Valhermoso Holiness Cemetery.
Mr. Brown died Sun., Jan. 16, 2011, at his residence. He was born April 12, 1955, in Morgan County to William T. Brown and Eoma Brown Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Brown, three daughters, Tcy Scalf and husband Greg of Arlington, Nebraska, Kim Thomason and husband Randy of Hartselle and Megan Brown of Decatur; two brothers, Jerry Brown and wife Linda and Don Brown and wife Austine, all of Somerville; three sisters, Fran Bonds and husband Robert and Fananda Crowe and husband Charles, all of Somerville and Gedale Taylor and husband James of Hartselle; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Larry Crow, Larry Slater, Don Brown II, Jerry Brown Jr., Kirk Brown and Wayne Brown.
