Hal Lamar ‘Tobe’ White

Funeral for Hal Lamar “Tobe” White, 79, of Moulton was Sun., Jan. 16, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Wayne Penn and A. Ray Lee officiating.
Burial with military honors was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. White died Thur., Jan. 13, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital. He was a member of Sister Springs Baptist Church in Tyler and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Danville High School in 1949 where he was active in sports and was retired from South Central Bell Telephone Company.
He is survived by his wife, Fay White of Moulton; two sons, Lamar White of Danville and Hal White of Foley; three stepsons, Teryl Steele, Jack Steele and David Steele; four grandsons, Hunter Lamar White, William Hal White, Jacob Hal White and Grady Bryan White; three stepgranddaughters, Laresa Jeffers, Megan Sapp and Merianna Morgan; a stepgrandson, Will Steele; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Matt Jones, Lee Skinner, Will Skinner, Chad Woodruff, Jeffrey Franks, Michael Walker and Eddie Boean.
