Funeral for Occie M. Cole, 85, of Hartselle was Wed., Jan. 19, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Nathan Green and Carl Maynard officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Cole died Mon., Jan. 17, 2011, at her residence. She was born July 12, 1925, in Morgan County to Grady A. Burch and Eva Mae Stover Cole. She was a member of the Pattillo Street Church of God. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved her husband with all her heart. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Cole, Christine Fortenberry and Rachel Arnold.
She is survived by her husband, Thanuel “Bud” Cole; two daughters, Freida C. Warden and husband Billy and Janice A. Cole, all of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Tim Chaney and Matthew Nix and wife Suzanne; and three great-grandchildren, Savannah Chaney, Adrianna Chaney and Fisher T. Nix.
Pallbearers were Bobby Robbins, Jimmy Robbins, Gilbert Nix, Tim Cole, Junior Waddell and John Cole.
