Funeral for Nadine Abner, 78, of Fort Pierce, Fla. will be Friday, January 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Abner died Monday, January 24, 2011, at Consulate Healthcare, Vero Beach, Fla. She was born in Moulton and had been a resident of Fort Pierce, Fla. for the past seven years and formerly of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a homemaker and loved to garden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newet Abner; a son, Jimmy Abner; and a daughter, Judy Barnett.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Gogocha of Rockford, Mich. and Gail Tipton of Fort Pierce, Fla.; three brothers, Junior Louallen and Ferris Louallen, both of Cincinnati, Ohio and Wiley Louallen of Moulton; two sisters, Christine Nelson of Nashville, Tenn. and Myrtle Blackman of Moulton; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
