Funeral for Doris Henry Ward, 65, of Hartselle will be Thursday, January 27, at 1:30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mrs. Ward died Monday, January 24, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 10, 1945, in Morgan County to Albert and Laverne Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by two sons, John A. Ward and wife Paula and Kenneth R. Ward and wife Carmen; a daughter, Nikki Ward Rutter and husband Brock; two brothers, Bruce Henry and Hugh Henry; six grandchildren, Ryan Mayfield, Cassidy Mayfield, John W. Ward, Randy Ward, Lizzie Ward and Henry Rutter; three stepgrandchildren, Ashley Hudson, D.J. Vinson and Logan Vinson; and a step-great-granddaughter, Gabby Hudson.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
