David R. Moore

Funeral for David R. Moore, 85, of Falkville will be Friday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Donald Dugger officiating.

Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mr. Moore died Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born April 7, 1925, in Morgan County to James Lawson Moore and Mattie Lou Crow Moore. He was a member of Son Rise Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling with the church and doing ministry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Morgan Moore.

He is survived by a sister, Eva Robinson of Hartselle and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Steven Tyler New, Joseph Mahr, Loyd Robinson, Frank Jr. Morgan, Kenneth Morgan and Danny Cooper
