Funeral for Norma Mae Johnson Pettit, 91, of Hartselle will be Sunday, January 30, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Brown and Carl Maynard officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service on Sunday.
Mrs. Pettit died Friday, January 28, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born August 6, 1919, in Morgan County to James B. “Jim” Johnson and Tommie Smallwood Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of New Center Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. “Booth” Pettit; a son, Vaughn Pettit; a daughter, Carolyn Hanners; two brothers, Paul Johnson and Trussell Johnson.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Classe of Orlando, Fla.; a son-in-law, Robert A. Hanners of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Annette Payne, Tina Creel, Teresa Maynard and Jeff Pettit; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
