Funeral for Oscar Waugh Jr., 64, of Montgomery, formerly of Hartselle, will be Saturday, January 29, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating.

Burial will be Somerville Cemetery.

Mr. Waugh died Monday, January 24, 2011, in Montgomery. He was born January 27, 1946, in Morgan County to Oscar Waugh Sr. and Lula Mae Stricklin Waugh. He was a wonderful Christian man and was preceded in death by his brother, Weldon Waugh and two sisters, Maxie Callahan and Dorothy “Andee” Anderson.

He is survived by a brother, Bobby Waugh and wife Rita of Somerville; a sister, Laverne Thompson and husband Earl of Moulton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Leldon Lacey, David Lacey,   Keith Waugh, Curtis Slaten, Prentiss Hagood and Dan Mackey.
