Brewer pulls away from Priceville in B-team girls championship
Brewer won the B-team girls title of the Morgan County Tournament. Brewer used an 8-2 run to open the fourth quarter to take a nine-point lead en route to a 43-34 win over Priceville in the B-team girls championship game of the Morgan County Tournament Saturday.
Three points was all that separated the Lady Patriots and the Lady Bulldogs through the first three quarters.
However, the run put the game out of reach as Brewer had no answer down the stretch.
Emily Oden led the Lady Patriots with 11 points while Kana Adkins had 9 points. Caitlin Lavender also added 8 points while Skylar George scored 4. Lindsey Goodner chipped in 2 points while Sydney Sowder had 1.
Jada Beverly led Priceville with 14 points and Alex Moore added 9 points.
Emilee Cunningham had 7 points in the loss while Alyah McAbee and Savannah Prentice had 2 each.
