Help us promote our home
On the front of the newspaper each week we use the words “Home is where the heart is.” We here believe those words and we want to make sure that in all that we do whether it’s the newspaper, online edition or our magazine that we promote our home. Hartselle is a great place to live, work, play, raise a family, worship, and live your life. We are thankful that you allow us to come into your home and be a part of your family.
With that being said, we are in the process of making a few changes here at the newspaper. It is our hope that these changes will be positive and will only continue to improve our community and its residents. One of the changes that you may have noticed is the elimination of our e-Sound Off. We want your opinions about what we’re doing in the newspaper and about what is happening in our communities. We ask that you do so in the form of “Letters to the Editor” or simply stop by and talk with us about your concerns. I’ll never be too busy to talk with you.
Other changes that you may have noticed include updating our website several times each day. From breaking news to posting obituaries as they are received, adding photos from events, to updating the calendar – this is only just the beginning. We want to be your first source for information as to what is happening here. If there are other items you would like to see feel free to let us know.
We would appreciate your submissions to us – your club news, church news, family reunions, etc.
We will publish them in a timely manner. Also if you are aware of a person in our community who might be an unsung hero, let us know about him or her.
We want to keep you well informed about what is happening, as well as promoting our citizens, our community, and our way of life. We want all of you to be a part of the Hartselle Enquirer and look forward to a great continued relationship as we move forward into the future.
Randy Garrison is the general manager of the Hartselle Enquirer.
