Neel Senior Center addition approved

Members of the Neel Senior Center will have more elbow room when their new facility is completed later this year.
An 8-foot extension of the building’s floor slab plan was approved as a $17,621.15 change order by the Morgan County Commission at its Jan. 25th meeting.
“The additional floor space is needed for recreational space as well as programs given by student groups from time to time,” said District 2 Commissioner Randy Vest. “We felt it was best to go ahead and authorize the change before construction starts.”
The building is under contract to E Tech Construction at an adjusted cost of $207,185.15.
